David Bleedorn spent twenty-six years working in the automotive market, before joining the Venture Out: Team and Leadership Center at Camp Joy in late 2014. He is focusing on advancing experiential education through development of excellent curriculum and partnering with high quality facilitators to serve the regional business community of Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.
David’s past experience in operations for 17 years with Voith Industrial Services, based in Blue Ash, Ohio led him into HR/Training and Development world. He was challenged with the implementation of North American training programs across Voith’s four divisions throughout Canada, Mexico and USA. After achieving that implementation, David decided to look for another challenge. This led him to the Venture Out: Team and Leadership Center. The vision to partner with facilitators, businesses, organizations, and non profits to “Develop Leaders” within the regional community is a driving force behind the success of Venture Out as a Leadership Center.
David is married with two children and enjoys playing sports, running, and spending time with his family and friends. Being a University of Kansas “Jayhawk”, David is an avid college basketball fan.
